About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure DI equipment installation is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to project specifications
- Represent PowerSecure at the project site level
- Oversee all construction activities
- Be present for all equipment deliveries
- Manage subcontractors and internal resources
- Interface with customers, utilities, and local AHJs
- Maintain safe and healthy work sites according to company standards, procedures, and legal requirements
- Coordinate and administer daily safety briefings with contractors and company employees
- Coordinate and lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and others
- Understand project financials and create and issue purchase orders
- Ensure project sites are left tidy and comply with housekeeping standards
- Coordinate with relevant parties for timely project execution
- Communicate with senior staff to ensure projects are installed safely, timely, and within budget
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in construction; energy industries preferred
- Knowledge of construction management, financials, and construction
- Experience working with General Contractors, subcontractors, customers, Engineers, utilities, and AHJ’s
- Ability to identify and manage priorities with urgency while maintaining high quality and customer service
- Proficient with computers, standard office software, and construction management software
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, product data submittals, and site specifications
- Must be punctual, organized, and professional
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to lead and conduct meetings in various formats
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in various positions, including low to the ground or on a ladder
- Must be able to stand or walk for 3–4 hours at a time
- Must be willing and able to drive a company vehicle and/or fly commercially if necessary
- Ability to work in varying weather climates, noise intensity levels, around energized electrical equipment, overhead hazards, and heavy equipment
