Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape Supply Chain IT solutions across Europe and Asia Pacific
  • Rapidly assimilate assigned business-area products and processes
  • Gather requirements, create functional designs, perform testing, and work with business processes
  • Link IT impacts to redesigned business processes
  • Support user requests independently using standard tools
  • Network with PPG Analysts to understand how IT solutions are deployed in other areas
  • Build effective working relationships across functional, technical, and business partners
  • Support software delivery through product-manager interactions, specifications, and user-story development
  • Support test-plan development and change-management activities
  • Lead and deliver small projects independently
  • Apply Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
  • Provide technical support for minor user requests, ad-hoc reports, and data extraction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT or related discipline experience
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
  • Strong systems and process orientation
  • Track record of participation on IT project teams
  • Comfortable working remotely using primarily virtual collaboration methods
  • Highly motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability and desire to foster the development of junior team members
  • Technical skills for minor user requests such as ad-hoc reports and data extraction
  • Fluent English
