About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead measurement, forecasting, and optimization of marketing investment across all D2C marketing channels
  • Own analytical infrastructure for spend allocation, channel performance evaluation, and growth projections
  • Design, build, and continuously improve multi-touch attribution models across the full customer journey
  • Develop and maintain media mix models to quantify incremental channel impact, evaluate saturation curves, and inform budget allocation
  • Own marketing performance forecasting across paid search, paid social, organic, CTV, display, affiliate, and emerging channels
  • Conduct scenario planning and monthly/quarterly re-forecasts
  • Build and evolve LTV and CAC models by channel, segment, and cohort
  • Establish payback benchmarks and inform investment decisions through unit economics
  • Present findings, trade-offs, and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Partner with channel managers, finance, product, and data engineering on measurement standards, data infrastructure, and go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate with channel owners and data engineering on new launches, reporting needs, data feeds, and timely performance reporting
  • Run cohort and retention analysis to identify channels that bring in durable subscribers
  • Meet first-90-day onboarding, coaching, QA calibration, team-trust, and process-insight objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing metrics, attribution models, and experimentation methods
  • Demonstrated expertise building and interpreting multi-touch attribution models and media mix models in production environments
  • Proven track record forecasting marketing performance across a diverse channel mix, including paid search, paid social, organic, CTV, and other channels
  • Deep experience with LTV/CAC modeling, cohort analysis, and unit economics, ideally in a subscription, DTC, or performance-driven business
  • Advanced SQL required
  • Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling strongly preferred
  • Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with attribution and measurement platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Siege, Northbeam, Rockerbox, or similar
  • Ability to distill complex technical analyses into concise narratives for executive audiences
  • Strong business acumen and ability to use models to inform decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new platforms, channels, tools, data structures, and reporting environments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance and meet standard work schedule requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly via phone, video, and in person
  • Ability to lift or move up to 10–15 pounds
  • Ability to view computer screens and perform detailed work for extended periods
