About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the freemium strategy, roadmap, and results across all direct-to-consumer products
  • Find, validate, and launch free experiences that capture users and convert them to paid subscriptions
  • Optimize the free-user journey from sign-up and activation through upgrade
  • Apply AI to improve user experiences, partnering with Engineering and Legal/Compliance
  • Own the product roadmap for the website, landing pages, and checkout based on conversion impact
  • Partner with Engineering and Marketing to use Segment, Iterable, and Ketch in nurture, lifecycle, and consent experiences
  • Ensure tracking and instrumentation provide a reliable view of funnel performance
  • Run A/B and multivariate testing at scale with clear hypotheses and success criteria
  • Analyze Google Analytics and Mixpanel data and combine it with user research to understand conversion behavior
  • Partner with the CMO and Marketing teams on goals and priorities
  • Lead agile delivery with a squad of 4–5 engineers and embedded design
  • Present strategy and results to the CPO, CMO, and leadership forums
  • Scale the document review experience and launch additional freemium experiences during the first 12 months

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–10 years in product management, including growth, acquisition, or conversion-focused work
  • Proven results owning high-traffic website, landing page, or checkout experiences
  • Experimentation at scale, with the statistical judgment to read results correctly
  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms and the Google Analytics suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Freemium, free trial, or product-led growth experience converting free users to paid subscribers strongly preferred
  • Mixpanel, Segment, Ketch, and/or Iterable experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with consumer-facing AI products strongly preferred
  • Experience with D2C subscription businesses strongly preferred
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet connectivity and participate effectively in phone and video calls
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
  • Occasional travel may be required
