  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions
  • Develop and build backend systems, frontend user experiences, products, and business tools
  • Contribute to software engineering technical direction
  • Perform frontend coding for web and/or mobile using React, React Native, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node, or similar technologies
  • Implement UI primitives across web and mobile
  • Implement products used by external customers and service providers
  • Perform backend coding using C#/.NET, Node.js, or similar technologies
  • Implement new features and functionality in Node.js and .NET as needed
  • Write reliable, tested code, including unit tests and CI/CD pipeline contributions
  • Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing
  • Create a database of defects and successful mitigation techniques
  • Use agentic AI coding tools to accelerate feature development and reduce boilerplate
  • Review AI-generated code for logical errors, security flaws, performance issues, and requirements alignment before merging
  • Engage in ongoing study of modern technologies and industry knowledge
  • Collaborate with software engineers, program/product managers, software test engineers, business partners, and neighboring teams
  • Participate in daily agile stand-ups and story creation, sizing, and updating
  • Share on-call and escalation responsibilities
  • Contribute to requirements, architecture, and design as responsibilities increase

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–5 years of industry experience in software engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Frontend-focused: intermediate ability to code in React, React Native, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node, or similar web technologies
  • Backend-focused: intermediate ability to code in C#/.NET or similar object-oriented languages
  • Demonstrated proficiency with agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
  • Ability to decompose problems into well-scoped tasks delegated to and validated from AI agents
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security vulnerabilities, and architectural fit
  • Willingness to learn new approaches and technologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Open-minded approach to new ideas and approaches
  • Willingness to challenge others and be challenged
  • Ability to contribute to creating the best design and architecture possible
