About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage customer onboarding projects from post-sale handoff through kickoff, configuration, training, launch, and transition to Customer Success
  • Establish project goals, milestones, responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and success criteria
  • Maintain project documentation and hold customers and internal stakeholders accountable for next steps
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout onboarding
  • Lead customer meetings and provide proactive status updates
  • Translate customer needs into actionable implementation plans
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, Technical, Operations, and other teams
  • Address configurations, workflows, data requirements, integrations, dependencies, and implementation issues
  • Identify and resolve project risks
  • Ensure training and implementation activities are completed
  • Maintain accurate customer and system records
  • Contribute insights to improve onboarding processes, resources, and customer time to value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of relevant customer-facing experience in software onboarding, implementation, customer support, customer success, project coordination/project management, account management, or a related role
  • Experience preferably within a SaaS or technology environment
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple customer projects, implementations, or complex customer engagements simultaneously
  • Accountability for timelines, deliverables, follow-through, and customer outcomes
  • Strong project-management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to establish plans, milestones, responsibilities, timelines, and accountability across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead customer meetings, manage expectations, communicate proactively, and work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and technology proficiency
  • Experience using CRM, project-management, communication, and productivity tools
  • Ability to quickly learn new software, workflows, products, and industry concepts
