About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute challenging security projects for PS and MSP customers
  • Ensure technical precision and resolve complex client needs
  • Develop custom methodologies, payloads, exploits, and tools when off-the-shelf solutions are insufficient
  • Identify vulnerability trends and translate them into improvements between services and product
  • Develop new Guard capabilities based on vulnerabilities identified during security projects
  • Continuously learn about the industry and offensive security landscape
  • Deliver high-impact findings across red team operations, application security assessments, and cloud security reviews
  • Produce clear, actionable reports for technical practitioners and executive stakeholders
  • Integrate AI tooling into offensive security workflows
  • Contribute research, blog posts, or conference presentations
  • Mentor junior engineers and support continuous team learning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
  • 0–2 years of experience or relevant internships in cybersecurity, startups, or high-tech environments
  • Experience writing software or scripts using Go (Golang), Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Early experience or demonstrated passion for Product Security, Cloud Security, Web/Network Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, or IoT/Embedded Security
  • Notable achievements in CTFs such as CCDC or CPTC, or on Hack The Box, TryHackMe, or PortSwigger
  • Verifiable contributions to vulnerability research (CVEs), exploit development, or open-source offensive security projects
  • Familiarity with AI prompt engineering is a strong plus
  • Hold or actively pursue industry-recognized certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, PNPT, BSCP, OSWE, or relevant cloud certifications
  • Ability to develop custom methodologies, payloads, exploits, and tools
