About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python and Node.js
Own APIs, business logic, and data flows built on PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Contribute to frontend features (approximately 30%) to deliver complete product experiences
Develop and maintain web scraping and data ingestion pipelines in compliance with applicable legal and ethical frameworks
Work effectively with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to turn requirements into scalable solutions
Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems
Participate in technical decisions and architecture discussions

Requirements

What you’ll need

French proficiency is required for this role
English proficiency is required
French proficiency is required
4+ years of experience in Full-Stack Engineering or Backend Engineering
Strong backend experience with Python and/or Node.js
Good command of PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Comfortable making occasional contributions to frontend codebases
Experience with or interest in web scraping and systems that process large volumes of data
Good knowledge of modern AI-assisted development practices
Strong ability to take ownership and work independently
Based in Latin America
Experience with OCR, computer vision, or document processing
Experience building automation-focused or data-driven products
Startup or scale-up experience
