About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support client services efforts by connecting agency activities to clients
  • Implement projects that promote and support the success and profitability of client deliverables
  • Drive daily tasks by communicating with internal service delivery personnel and leading client communications
  • Manage workflows for assigned accounts and ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time
  • Develop and maintain account status reports and project timelines
  • Contribute to project briefs and update clients and teams on schedules and next steps
  • Own meeting decks and associated technology
  • Review materials for accuracy and completion before client delivery, presentation, or final production
  • Submit direct cost estimate requests and obtain client approvals
  • Maintain organized project files
  • Serve as a day-to-day client liaison and run status calls and meetings
  • Foster client relationships and balance agency and client needs
  • Assist with agency fee estimates, budgets, approvals, hour allocation, expenditure records, billing information, budget trackers, and billing forecasts
  • Help move work through the agency to meet profitability goals and identify bottlenecks
  • Develop product category, competitor, and key data-set knowledge
  • Understand client objectives, target audiences, milestones, competitive landscape, clinical background, and performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities to grow client business and billings
  • Communicate the agency’s strategic and tactical point of view to clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, communications, or advertising
  • At least one year of experience as an Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive within an advertising, marketing, communication or related industry
  • Experience with direct client contact
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with clients’ online submission systems for medical/regulatory and legal reviews (e.g., Zinc or Veeva)
  • Preferred: Medical communications or healthcare industry experience
  • Preferred: Experience in writing SOWs and project briefs
