About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, draft, negotiate and track legal agreements, including confidentiality agreements, master services agreements, site contracts, consulting agreements, vendor agreements, clinical study agreements, amendments and other client contracts
- Work with supervisors and internal/external stakeholders to resolve or escalate contractual issues
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and contracting standards
- Update study team members on contract negotiation and execution status
- Establish, track, report and manage site contract metrics
- Support maintenance and archiving of contract files and databases
- Assist in designing and implementing procedures for timely contract execution
- Identify process improvement opportunities and take corrective action
- Work closely with Clinical Operations study teams to align deliverables with study timelines
- Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate, postgraduate, 4-year college degree
- Experience in a CRO/healthcare field
- Relevant experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating site Clinical Trial Agreements, Vendor Contracts and Site Budget negotiations, but no less than 5 years’ experience
- Experienced leading interactions with Study Teams and Sponsor
- Proficient in MS Office software programs and computer applications
- Knowledgeable on setting up Contracting Plans - Guides for CTA & Budget negotiations
- Successful handling relationship study team and/or with CRAs/Start-up Associate/(S)BSCA to meet study timelines
- Strong organizational and written communication skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute time-sensitive matters while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work and plan independently and in a team environment
- Sound business judgment and proactive, independent work style
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion
- Ability to work cooperatively in a virtual environment
