About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and help manage strategic client accounts in partnership with Strategic Account Managers and/or Strategic Account Directors
  • Contribute to strategic planning and develop annual strategic, tactical, brand, and project-level plans
  • Manage day-to-day client communications and translate client vision into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables
  • Oversee project execution and help ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with client goals
  • Support account financial management, including scoping, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring team efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client success, account growth, client advocacy, and new business
  • Serve as day-to-day client contact on assigned accounts
  • Coordinate internal teams on strategy, timelines, and client expectations
  • Review deliverables for accuracy and readiness before client delivery
  • Participate in and occasionally lead client meetings, status calls, planning calls, and calls with healthcare professionals
  • Stay current on industry trends, scientific developments, regulations, and competitive landscapes
  • Prepare client plans, respond to ad hoc requests, finalize materials, prepare content, and support live client or healthcare professional meetings, including travel when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 1-year account management experience within the medical communications or related industry
  • PowerPoint design proficiency
  • Strong strategic and analytical background
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, and/or advanced degree in management, marketing, or business preferred
