About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acts as the business lead for the agency team and is responsible for all facets of assigned client business
  • Carries out the client’s vision and advocates for agency solutions by aligning resources
  • Leads cross-functional teams to deliver quality work and client satisfaction across multiple accounts
  • Drives organic growth and growth of account team members
  • Directs account teams to oversee tactics
  • Provides guidance on high-profile and/or new strategy/deliverables
  • Develops relationships with director-level and senior-level client partners and core brand teams
  • Identifies client opportunities and issues early
  • Manages forecasting, monthly and annual revenue recognition, pricing, revisions, and financial implications
  • Reports changes to the financial picture and escalates revenue or forecasting upsides/downsides
  • Develops product, category, competition, and client-market knowledge
  • Provides strategic insights to internal and external teams
  • Expands agency opportunities across client departments and divisions
  • Participates in business development and networking initiatives
  • Mentors junior staff and account teams
  • Maintains relationships with senior-level industry executives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • May require domestic and/or international travel, including overnight stays
  • 13 years of agency experience; experience successfully managing and growing $1M+ pharma/healthcare accounts (preferred)
  • Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Experience (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Internet
