About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Run full-cycle recruiting across engineering, sales, and implementations, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and supporting offers through close
- Build pipelines through cold outreach, referrals, and events rather than only processing inbound applications
- Partner with hiring managers to understand exceptional performance requirements for each role
- Help run campus recruiting efforts
- Track pipeline metrics and report what is working and what is not
- Protect candidate experience through fast interview loops, honest communication, and clean closes
- Master existing interview loops, rubrics, and recruiting processes, then improve them
- Help shape recruiting as the first dedicated recruiter at Prelim
Requirements
What you’ll need- Clear communicator with strong writing skills
- Ability to write job descriptions, reports, debriefs, offer letters, and internal documentation
- Genuine interest in people, including reading, persuading, and advocating for them
- Demonstrated high-throughput output, such as customers served, calls made, events run, or tickets closed
- Evidence of learning difficult things quickly, including the subject, speed, and result
- Track record of top-tier performance, such as early promotion, top ranking, leading a team, or starting a business
- Nice to have: exposure to recruiting, sales, or fintech
