About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Represent the business within an Agile delivery team and act as a liaison between business and IT
Develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders
Lead requirements elicitation and analysis for complex initiatives
Facilitate decomposition sessions to define scope, dependencies, risks, and delivery considerations
Document epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, requirements, UI specifications, and business rules
Apply business process, cost-benefit, workflow, capability assessment, and solution evaluation techniques
Identify automation opportunities and develop low-code solutions
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, document analysis, story mapping, process mapping, and workflow analysis
Maintain knowledge of Premera systems, business processes, data assets, and technology capabilities
Research, evaluate, and recommend business and technology solutions
Analyze data architecture, data flows, integrations, and reporting considerations
Use SQL and data tools for analysis, troubleshooting, validation, metrics, root cause investigations, and ad hoc reporting
Perform data analysis and mapping, define transformation rules, and support integration design
Support SDLC testing, including planning, scenario development, execution, defect triage, validation, and UAT
Provide recommendations on backlog priorities, dependencies, risks, and release planning
Mentor junior analysts and support their professional development
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Five (5) years of business systems analysis experience
Experience with requirements elicitation, process analysis, stakeholder management, and delivery of technology solutions in a cross-functional environment
Experience in a software development environment using Agile delivery practices, including Scrum and SAFe
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
Experience using SQL for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, reporting, and requirements support
Knowledge of healthcare or health insurance processes and systems
Experience with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Confluence, and Product Plan
Experience working with SQL, large datasets, and data-validation techniques
Understanding of APIs, integrations, data pipelines, enterprise applications, and modern technology ecosystems
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, and enterprise data platforms
Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools
Experience designing and implementing automation solutions using UiPath, Appian, and other low-code or workflow automation platforms
Ability to elicit, analyze, organize, document, prioritize, and trace requirements throughout the solution lifecycle
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and facilitation skills
Ability to work in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
