About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Run individual machine centers on each production line.
- Operate production machinery according to specifications.
- Safely and efficiently operate machinery and produce quality products at an acceptable rate.
- Constantly observe and routinely inspect production to ensure high-quality products.
- Monitor production lines for pile-ups, jams, and improperly adhering glue.
- Participate in preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Perform basic cleaning of machinery and the plant.
- Use the BOM to obtain needed raw materials and keep assigned machines supplied.
- Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
- Count and record finished and rejected packaged items, machine downtime, and materials used.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years work-related experience or training preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Computer experience is preferred.
- Everyone at Premium Waters, Inc. must be involved and committed to safety.
- Ability to work the Full-Time 2-2-3 schedule, 6p-6a.
