About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Tend to machines such as fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, and palletizers used for bottling water
  • Operate manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely while ensuring package and product quality
  • Perform routine equipment operation
  • Load raw materials
  • Monitor processes for quality assurance
  • Resolve minor mechanical issues
  • Perform hands-on equipment changeovers and troubleshooting using machine HMIs and basic hand tools
  • Apply safe work practices and adhere to safety guidelines
  • Document quality checks in food safety and quality assurance software using a handheld tablet or computer
  • Execute daily and weekly sanitation schedules for assigned machines
  • Follow quality and food safety processes
  • Engage positively with coworkers and contribute to an inclusive, supportive environment
  • Work 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; overtime is mandatory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Packaging or manufacturing experience
  • Experience with a beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturer is a plus
  • Prior knowledge of GMPs, sanitation standards and FDA requirements is helpful
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time – 8- or 12-hour shifts
  • Basic math skills are needed
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Overtime is mandatory
  • Must follow established GMPs, sanitation standards, and SQF & FDA requirements
