About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform analysis tasks using business and accounting knowledge to direct or develop programming required for audit tools
Convert customer data to standard PRGX formats using parameter-based SQL programming
Ensure data integrity by verifying data readability, structure, content, and scope
Respond to audit staff requests for data conversion, standard reports, non-standard reports, and related support issues
Analyze and program solutions under general supervision
Help team members evaluate, diagnose, and correct business application issues
Provide programming support on business systems design, custom applications, and programming issues
Increase knowledge of PRGX applications and technical knowledge through trade publications, courses, and demonstrations
Expand understanding of PRGX business practices, techniques, and audits
Contribute to team success by helping others achieve work results, learning new skills, improving code reuse, and finding new ways to support the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
More than 1 year of experience in an office environment, data analysis, and/or related conversion
Experience with MS SQL and T-SQL; relational database analysis
Exposure to JSON formats and object storage platforms is valued
Exposure to file formats such as delimited, positional, and EBCDIC is an advantage
Exposure to reporting solutions such as Power BI
Basic Python scripting knowledge to automate tasks
Knowledge of accounting or financial auditing; exposure to financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or JD Edwards is an advantage
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with MS Office products
Ability to work in a dynamic, high-performance team environment
Fluency in Spanish and English
Must be able to attend the Madrid office in Spain at least one day per week
