About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and own software development teams responsible for services powering Priceline’s Flight Shopping Platform
  • Serve as a leader of leaders, scaling delivery and cross-functional execution through teams
  • Drive technology strategy, operational backbone, and system architecture decisions across the flights domain
  • Lead adoption of AI/agentic engineering practices to accelerate shopping-experience innovation
  • Own the multi-team roadmap and partner with Product Group Engineering leads, flight commercial stakeholders, and cross-functional peers on priorities and long-term technical direction
  • Manage and coach managers and engineers across experience levels
  • Influence what the company builds, how it builds, and how teams work
  • Participate in formal and grassroots technical and non-technical communities at Priceline

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering and development
  • 5+ years of experience leading software development teams
  • Proven track record managing a mix of people-managers and senior ICs, overseeing an organization of 20+ across multiple teams
  • B2C, e-commerce, or OTA experience; travel industry experience is a plus
  • Skilled at hiring, coaching, and developing engineering leaders, including performance management of managers
  • Experience operating across global, cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities through organizational change
  • Proven collaboration skills with technical and less-technical colleagues
  • Experience developing on cloud platforms, especially GCP and AWS
  • Strong system-architecture fluency and comfort partnering deeply on technical decisions
