About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and deploy software that orchestrates complex deployments, progressively rolls them out, and continuously monitors their health
- Design, implement, and maintain internal build pipeline infrastructure and services
- Debug and resolve developer issues involving maintained services
- Continuously improve the developer experience
- Collaborate with Security, Architecture, and SDET teams
- Ensure code meets security and quality requirements
- Deploy software in alignment with standards and governance processes
- Modernize Priceline’s development platform for hundreds of engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced development skills in at least one of JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Python, or Java
- Experience developing software to deploy infrastructure
- Experience with CD tools such as ArgoCD or Flux
- Experience developing on Kubernetes or other distributed platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills for distributed systems and software
- Experience engineering large systems with many stakeholders throughout planning, execution, and operation phases
- Five or more years of progressively complex related experience
- Passion for automating and improving processes
- Integrity and ethics aligned with Priceline’s values
