About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate, plan, and schedule maintenance work orders using the Maximo Enterprise Asset Management System
- Ensure efficient execution of preventive and planned maintenance activities
- Analyze work requests, develop work schedules and job plans, and maintain critical spares lists and the Master Equipment list
- Ensure materials, parts, and supplies are available for planned maintenance activities
- Enter, schedule, and report work orders in Maximo EAM
- Analyze incoming work orders, prioritize tasks, and assign them to appropriate teams
- Create weekly and daily maintenance schedules based on resource availability and deadlines
- Maintain PM checklists, schedules, and compliance reports
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, production staff, internal customers, external customers, and other stakeholders
- Identify recurring maintenance problems, recommend solutions, and implement process improvements
- Monitor maintenance department KPIs and identify improvement areas
- Run and revise daily reports covering forecasting data, logistics, inventory costs, and turnaround times
- Compile and record facilities production and customer data
- Coordinate and schedule work, including work requests, authorization documents, and support services
- Review and inspect files and database entries for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain requirement logs and coordinate data for customers and systems
- Research and update asset records according to manufacturer recommendations and requirements
- Provide internal customer training on process requirements
- Use customer portal systems to coordinate work order approvals
- Perform other assigned duties and special projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three to five years’ work experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Familiarity with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Proficient written and oral communication using appropriate English
- Ability to respond to questions and requests and make presentations
- Computer literacy using business software and the internet, including entering and retrieving data
- Demonstrated customer service, problem solving, common sense, and analytical skills
- Human relations skills to build effective relationships with internal and external customers
- Mathematical skills involving fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to establish priorities and solve a wide range of business problems
- Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects simultaneously
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License may be required depending on local, state, or contract requirements
- Ability to perform the listed physical demands, including sitting, keyboarding, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
