About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide overall leadership and accountability for a multi-million-dollar power project through full lifecycle execution
- Serve as the client’s primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead engineering, procurement, construction, and safety teams
- Oversee contractor performance and compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Review and approve engineering deliverables, drawings, and design documents
- Drive project performance and implement risk mitigation strategies for schedule, scope, and budget
- Resolve multidisciplinary technical challenges with internal engineering teams and external partners
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA safety reviews
- Manage change control processes
- Collaborate with senior leadership on manpower planning, resource allocation, and portfolio strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required
- 15+ years of experience in industrial or power construction projects
- At least 5 years in a leadership role as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director
- Proven experience managing large EPC projects exceeding $100M in gas turbine co-generation, LNG, or related energy infrastructure
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles, construction management, project controls, and contract administration
- Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
