About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently manage the full lifecycle of IT and ERP projects, from planning and scope definition through execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Evaluate and align project goals with organizational priorities in collaboration with the IT Program Manager, leadership, and key stakeholders
  • Help define deliverables, success criteria, and expected outcomes
  • Develop and recommend project schedules
  • Make decisions regarding resource allocation
  • Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project scope and proactively resolve issues or recommend timeline adjustments
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate IT teams, vendors, and business units
  • Maintain project documentation, including scope statements, schedules, risk registers, meeting minutes, and decision logs
  • Embed cybersecurity and data protection standards into project activities
  • Comply with the PRIME Safety Program and follow safety regulations, procedures, and safe work practices
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • May supervise or coordinate the work of others assisting with specific assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or Accounting and 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience managing IT projects, particularly in ERP and digital transformation, preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage assigned project tasks and workstreams with minimal direct oversight
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operations manuals and instructions
  • Ability to write routine correspondence such as letters and memos
  • Ability to conduct face-to-face and telephone communication
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction
  • Ability to develop and implement action plans
  • Capacity to identify issues, propose solutions, and escalate matters as needed
  • Accurate documentation, record-keeping, and thorough review of project materials
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to project success
  • Position requires operating office machines such as computers, copiers, scanners, and phones
  • Some travel to other offices, work sites, and local business errands
