About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review, and manage contracts related to electricity trading, distributed generation, and energy management services
- Support contract negotiations with customers, partners, and suppliers
- Analyze and propose adjustments to commercial, operational, and legal clauses
- Ensure contractual documents comply with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements
- Support the business formalization process in collaboration with the Sales, Operations, Customer Relations, Legal, and Controls teams
- Monitor contract deadlines, amendments, renewals, signatures, and terminations
- Organize and keep the company’s contractual documentation up to date
- Address internal contract-related questions and support the mitigation of contractual risks
- Participate in continuous improvement, automation, and process standardization initiatives within the department
- Join the Contracts team at Prime Energy, an independent Brazilian company specializing in electricity trading, distributed generation, and energy management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Previous experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
- Knowledge of legal concepts applicable to contracts
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with contract negotiation is a plus
- Previous experience in the electricity market is a plus
- Experience in Brazil’s Free Energy Market is a plus
- Knowledge of electricity trading, distributed generation, or B2B service agreements is a plus
- Experience with process and document management tools is a plus
