About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and design sophisticated building services systems
- Manage projects from the initial concept through to completion
- Work on service phases 1–9 in accordance with HOAI
- Size and design building services systems using appropriate calculation software
- Create, edit, and review design and construction drawings
- Coordinate with architects, specialist planners, clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Provide technical support throughout the various planning and implementation phases
- Coordinate and monitor technical interfaces
- Ensure technically sound, cost-effective, and standards-compliant planning
- No disciplinary personnel management responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in building services engineering, mechanical building services engineering, energy and building services engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Alternatively, completed vocational training followed by further qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsperson in HVAC/building services engineering
- Professional experience in planning and designing building services systems
- Good knowledge of heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems
- Proficient in commonly used calculation and planning software
- Good MS Office skills
- CAD skills are an advantage
- Good to excellent written and spoken German
- Independent, structured, and reliable approach to work
- Strong teamworking, planning, and coordination skills
