About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, develop, and execute manual, exploratory, and regression tests
Execute and validate REST API tests, ensuring the integrity of business rules
Create, maintain, and enhance test scenarios and evidence
Perform root cause analysis of identified failures
Log and track bug reports, ensuring clarity and traceability
Validate integrations between systems, APIs, microservices, and external integrations
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, reviews, and refinement
Collaborate with the development team to continuously improve quality
Contribute to the evolution of testing and automation strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience with manual and functional testing
Experience with REST API testing
Knowledge of validating GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE endpoints
Knowledge of JSON payload validation
Knowledge of authentication testing, such as JWT and OAuth
Experience with Postman or similar tools
Knowledge of testing criteria, strategies, and planning
Experience logging and managing bugs in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
Basic database knowledge for data validation and simple queries
Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum/Kanban
Experience with test automation is a plus
Knowledge of Cypress and Playwright is a plus
Familiarity with end-to-end (E2E) testing is a plus
Experience with CI/CD is a plus
Familiarity with performance testing is a plus
