About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and build targeted prospect lists of small and mid-sized businesses, business owners, senior decision-makers, and IT service providers
- Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn using structured prospecting sequences
- Identify and engage qualified prospects based on target profiles and business needs
- Conduct 15–20 minute qualification calls to understand prospects’ current setup, challenges, decision-making process, and timeline
- Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings with senior sales representatives or business owners
- Prepare hand-off notes summarizing prospects, needs, qualification details, and key discussion points
- Follow up with prospects, reschedule missed meetings, and nurture leads not yet ready to proceed
- Maintain accurate prospect information, activities, notes, and next steps in the CRM
- Track outreach activity, meetings booked, and overall results; provide regular performance updates
- Identify improvements to prospecting lists, messaging, scripts, and outreach sequences
- Direct prospects to the appropriate managed IT service or technology partner/reseller program
- Represent the company professionally using a consultative, trust-based approach
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in B2B outbound sales, Sales Development, Business Development, Inside Sales, or a similar role
- Proven experience generating leads and booking meetings with business owners, senior decision-makers, or executives
- Experience selling or prospecting for IT services, managed services, SaaS, cybersecurity, or other technology solutions is a strong advantage
- Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to communicate confidently with US-based business prospects
- Strong understanding of outbound prospecting, lead qualification, follow-up, and appointment setting
- Comfortable conducting phone-based qualification calls and engaging prospects in business conversations
- Strong research, organization, follow-up, and time management skills
- Experience using CRM systems such as GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with prospecting tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate CRM records
- Comfortable working independently while consistently meeting activity and performance targets
- Willing to work full-time during US Central Time business hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT)
- Background check required before the job offer stage
