About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, maintain, and optimize client infrastructure including servers, networks, Azure, Microsoft 365, and security solutions
Lead and execute IT projects end-to-end, including migrations, deployments, upgrades, and cloud transitions
Implement and enforce security frameworks such as CMMC, NIST, and other compliance standards across client environments
Troubleshoot escalated L3 technical issues and mentor junior engineers
Develop and maintain documentation for client systems, policies, and procedures
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver solutions on time and within scope
Monitor system performance and proactively address vulnerabilities, outages, and compliance gaps

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in an MSP environment (preferred)
Strong technical expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
Experience with virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V
Experience with cloud services including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune
Experience with firewalls, networking, and endpoint security solutions
Hands-on experience with compliance/security frameworks including CMMC, NIST, HIPAA, or SOC 2
Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Relevant certifications preferred, including CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, CISSP, CISM, or CMMC-related credentials
