Key responsibilities & impact

Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient data solutions
Ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally to align data solutions with business strategy and enterprise standards
Direct selection and integration of advanced methodologies, frameworks, and data engineering technologies
Conduct proof-of-concepts and evaluate new products
Recommend adoption of viable solutions
Provide guidance and mentorship to intermediate and junior engineers
Define and monitor performance metrics for operational health, stability, and sustainability
Deliver documentation, roadmaps, and technical recommendations for leadership review
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED required
5 years work experience in data engineering or related field
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, including HIPAA and PCI
Skilled presenter, able to tailor technical and non-technical material to diverse audiences
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills with sound judgment
Proven ability to translate abstract concepts into stable, supportable solutions
Excellent written documentation and communication skills
