About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive quality engineering initiatives across complex software solutions in a multi-platform environment
Plan, design, and develop manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test data
Perform functional, regression, smoke, performance, stress, and platform testing
Lead and implement comprehensive test strategies, including non-functional testing
Design, develop, and optimize advanced automation frameworks and tools
Manage work direction and provide leadership, influence, feedback, and mentorship to team members
Analyze and resolve complex quality issues using advanced debugging techniques
Define and track quality metrics and present insights to stakeholders
Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and quality standards
Implement quality tools, services, and best practices through collaboration across IT
Perform other duties as assigned
Attest to and comply with job-specific security responsibilities and controls

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED required
5 years of work experience in software testing and/or engineering
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Proven ability to lead, influence, provide technical guidance, work direction, feedback, and mentorship to Quality Engineering teams
Experience developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies for complex, enterprise-level solutions, including non-functional testing
Expertise designing, developing, and optimizing advanced test automation frameworks
Knowledge of healthcare or PBM industry and relevant regulatory, security, and quality standards, including HIPAA
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including advanced debugging techniques
Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Proficiency with database testing and validation using SQL and large-scale databases such as Oracle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred: experience leading testing in multi-platform environments
Preferred: experience defining, collecting, and tracking quality metrics
Preferred: experience with test automation and/or performance testing
Preferred: experience leading test efforts across web, mobile, API, and microservices
Preferred: experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
Preferred: experience evaluating and implementing testing tools and quality best practices
Preferred: professional certification(s) in quality engineering or automation testing
Must comply with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, security, and internal policy requirements
