About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and support residential propane delivery operations during assigned shifts
Provide dispatch support and real-time communication with drivers
Monitor deliveries and adjust priorities as operational needs change
Receive, assess, and coordinate emergency delivery requests
Respond to customer inquiries and provide delivery updates
Monitor tank levels, delivery demand, and customer run-out risks
Maintain accurate records and communicate updates to dispatch and operations teams
Support company safety standards and operating procedures
Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, customer service, or a related field
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Availability to work Friday through Sunday or Friday through Monday, depending on business needs and seasonal demand
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Preferred: Experience in propane, fuel delivery, or transportation operations
Preferred: Experience with dispatch and routing software such as Vertrax or SmartDrops
Preferred: Knowledge of propane delivery operations and winter service requirements
