About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with the Finance Departments of major clients in the Banking and Insurance sectors
  • Contribute to the various phases of Finance transformation projects
  • Participate in the evolution of accounting, management control and reporting information systems
  • Work on regulatory projects and the organization or improvement of Finance processes
  • Establish project governance and lead steering committees and workshops
  • Monitor project progress and report to project governance bodies
  • Document business requirements, terms of reference and functional specifications
  • Improve and secure data quality, conduct impact analyses and propose solutions
  • Define the test strategy and test plan, then lead functional and integration testing
  • Review and optimize operational business controls and processes
  • Lead change management and deployment, particularly through project communications, functional documentation, training and support for business teams
  • Receive support from an operational mentor when working on client engagements
  • Contribute to the firm's projects and support more junior consultants in coordination with the management team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree, such as a business school diploma or university master's degree, with a focus on management, finance or management information systems
  • 2 to 5 years of operational experience gained within a Finance Department or Finance project management function, in a company, consulting firm or IT services company
  • Good knowledge of the Finance function and/or related information systems
  • Adaptable and organized
  • Proactive and able to make recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in office software
