About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with the Finance Departments of major clients in the banking and insurance sectors
Contribute to the various phases of Finance transformation projects
Participate in the development of accounting, management information and reporting systems
Contribute to regulatory projects and to the organization or improvement of Finance function processes
Establish project governance and facilitate project committees and workshops
Monitor project progress and report to project steering bodies
Formalize business requirements, specifications and functional documentation
Improve and secure data quality, conduct impact analyses and propose solutions
Define the acceptance strategy and test plan, then lead functional and integration testing
Review and optimize operational business controls and processes
Lead change management and deployment, particularly through project communications, functional documentation, training and support for Finance Department business teams
Contribute to the firm’s projects and support more junior colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (or equivalent), such as a business school degree or university master’s degree, with a focus on management, finance or management information systems
2 to 5 years of operational experience within a Finance Department or Finance project management/functional consulting function, in a company, consulting firm or IT services company
Strong knowledge of the Finance function and/or related information systems
Adaptable and organized
Proactive and able to make recommendations
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent writing skills
Fluent in English
Proficient in office productivity tools
