About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive creative strategies for clients in the pharmaceutical and wellness industries
  • Communicate a unique artistic vision to others
  • Lead and mentor art teams
  • Report to the VP, Creative Director
  • Collaborate with departmental leads to build project briefs
  • Build client relationships through creative ideation, recommendations, and hands-on support
  • Present creative concepts and strategy to clients and cross-functional teams
  • Bring insight on brands, disease states, clinical trials, data, and competitive products into the work
  • Create marketing initiatives aligned with client strategy
  • Own the quality of art assets, including third-party vendor work
  • Help manage design-team operations, priorities, resources, and project timelines
  • Work alongside Creative Directors to grow the creative team and maintain internal relationships
  • Track industry, competitor, and cultural trends and help shape agency strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field
  • At least 10 years in pharmaceutical marketing, including 5+ years agency-side and 3+ years at a leadership level
  • Experience leading brand planning with client budgets in the 3M–8M range
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and industry trends
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent presentation and client interaction skills
  • Remote candidates must be located in the United States or Canada
  • Eastern time zone preference
