About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the delivery of complex, high-value, multi-channel pharmaceutical marketing campaigns.
- Partner with account leads and creative leadership to ensure work meets strategic and regulatory requirements while exceeding client expectations.
- Anticipate risks, resolve issues, and safeguard delivery timelines and budgets.
- Own financial oversight for large accounts and portfolios, including forecasting, revenue recognition, and margin management.
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and profitability within accounts.
- Contribute to agency-level operational planning and resourcing strategies.
- Serve as the discipline lead for Project Management, setting standards, processes, and best practices across the team.
- Mentor project managers and senior project managers, helping them grow their skills and careers.
- Lead knowledge-sharing sessions, tools training, and uphold project management excellence.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, aligning project execution with business objectives.
- Provide thought leadership on process optimization, workflow design, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Report to the Head of Project Management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, project management, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in project management within a pharmaceutical marketing agency.
- Proven success leading large, cross-functional client programs and managing high-value accounts.
- Deep knowledge of medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) processes in the US and/or Canada.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in account forecasting and margin management.
- Expertise with project management systems and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
