About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of HSQ policies, procedures, standards and controls
Monitor legal and regulatory compliance and support internal, external and ISO audits and corrective actions
Coordinate risk assessments and hazard identification
Conduct site inspections and assurance activities
Monitor critical risks, controls and action plans and support emergency preparedness and response
Coordinate incident and near-miss reporting, investigation and follow-up
Support root-cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, lessons learned and trend identification
Provide HSQ support throughout project planning, design, construction, commissioning and operations
Participate in project activities, site execution and operational handover
Support contractor/supplier prequalification, tender evaluations and performance monitoring
Conduct audits/inspections and follow up actions
Review personnel, equipment and site-access documentation
Monitor and analyze HSQ KPIs, trends and performance
Prepare reports and management information and support country/company-level reporting
Promote HSQ leadership through training, awareness initiatives, toolbox talks, employee engagement, best-practice sharing and lessons learned
Support and drive the use of digital HSQ tools and data
Lead or contribute to improvement initiatives, transversal projects and operational HSQ solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–6 years of relevant experience in HSE/HSQ, preferably within energy, industrial, construction, infrastructure or a comparable high-risk environment
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering)
Experience with management systems and ISO standards, particularly ISO 45001 and ISO 9001; knowledge of ISO 14001 will be considered an asset
Master’s degree will be considered an asset
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively, delivering results autonomously
