About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Arrange deliveries to customers from warehouses in the UK and EU via road freight, ferry, and courier services
  • Liaise with customers, warehouses, and carriers
  • Input accurate information into the internal system to create forward allocations and warehouse instructions
  • Invoice customers promptly and ensure the correct VAT is applied
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including warehouse instructions, packing lists, commercial invoices, dangerous goods notes, and packaging labels
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and other customer service matters
  • Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and respond to Finance Department follow-up queries
  • Manage non-conformances
  • Carry out occasional on-site inspections of warehouses
  • Process charge invoices received from warehouses, freight forwarders, and other suppliers
  • Undertake project work as required
  • Provide cover for fellow team members during holiday, sickness absence, or other leave
  • Carry out other duties reasonably required by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in managing key customer accounts
  • Experience using an ERP system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, both internally and externally
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where products, processes, and programmes continue to evolve as the business grows
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
