About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate functional specifications and business requirements provided by clients and project stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps, ambiguities, dependencies, and potential risks in functional requirements, ensuring all necessary clarifications are obtained before implementation.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into clear, structured, and actionable user stories, including acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Technical Team Leaders to break down user stories into well-defined technical tasks for development teams.
  • Act as a key liaison between Project Managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor project execution and development progress, identifying potential delays, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates to the Lead Project Manager.
  • Support backlog management, task prioritization, and coordination of development activities.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven professional experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role within IT or software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and technical concepts, including software architecture, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, user story creation, and technical task breakdown.
  • Experience using Jira or similar project management and issue-tracking tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Software Developers, and Technical Team Leaders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex project environments.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Nice to Have: Previous experience in IT projects for public sector organizations.
  • Nice to Have: Experience in healthcare IT systems or digital transformation projects within the healthcare sector.
  • Nice to Have: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Nice to Have: Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Scrum Master, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
  • Nice to Have: Experience working on large-scale information systems involving multiple development teams and stakeholders.
