About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to employees of client companies
  • Triage injured or exposed employees and administer basic first aid
  • Prepare employees for MD/NP evaluation and provide case management
  • Perform health assessments, document findings, evaluate screening results, make referrals, and conduct follow-up
  • Collect and process substance abuse testing specimens and report results
  • Draw labs and perform occupational health testing, including audiograms, vision screening, and pulmonary function testing
  • Respond to client company representatives regarding employee health matters
  • Maintain onsite clinic supplies and educational materials
  • Maintain state and federal mandated records, including DHEC, OSHA, TJC, and NRC records
  • Support client safety, employee health, wellness, policy development, and operational improvement programs
  • Provide clinical duties and backup nursing support at various Employer Health Services locations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree in Nursing
  • Three (3) years nursing experience or two (2) years in Occupational Medicine nursing
  • Physical assessment background in urgent or emergency care preferred
  • Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State, or RN license in the state where the team member is working
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation and case management processes preferred
