About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Greet, direct, and provide information and assistance to patients, guests, and team members
- Facilitate patient visitation
- Serve as liaison between patients, families, guests, and team members
- Provide relevant screening procedures using infrared thermometers and scripted screening questions during periods of influenza or other pandemic periods
- Assist with patient check-in and patient tracking procedures
- Help with departmental clerical tasks and errands
- Assist in maintaining clean and quiet surroundings
- Provide comfort measures to family members and guests while they wait
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent or post-high school diploma/highest degree earned
- One (1) year of experience in a customer service position
- Basic computer skills
- Data entry skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products - preferred
