About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and analyze resource consumption across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports on costs, consumption, and financial efficiency
- Identify waste and propose optimization initiatives, including rightsizing, resource shutdowns, and architectural adjustments
- Support the development and monitoring of cloud budgets and forecasts
- Ensure accurate cost allocation through tagging and sound governance practices
- Support the execution of FinOps rituals and periodic cost reviews
- Generate executive reports and analyses to support decision-making
- Support contract and service management with cloud providers
- Work closely with Cloud, SRE, and Architecture teams to balance cost, performance, and availability
- Track financial efficiency metrics and propose continuous improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience with cloud environments and cost analysis
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technical teams and business stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple demands
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- FinOps certification
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- SQL or analytical tools for data manipulation
- Data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
- Knowledge of FinOps practices (cost management, forecasting, optimization)
- Knowledge of tagging, cost allocation, and financial governance
- Understanding of cloud architecture and its cost implications
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience with cost management tools (CloudHealth or similar)
- Experience working in corporate environments and critical operations
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- English proficiency
