About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own, administer, and improve the Brandfolder DAM ecosystem and SharePoint file storage structure
  • Define and evolve the long-term asset management strategy as volume and channels grow
  • Build and enforce tagging systems, file-naming conventions, and folder/category structures
  • Partner with Ecommerce and Creative on searchable product and channel metadata
  • Maintain relationships between assets, SKUs/products/variants, channel identifiers, and image placements
  • Build channel-specific naming rules
  • Maintain complete, organized asset sets for every product
  • Ensure production-ready assets are available for launches, PDP updates, promotions, campaigns, and go-live dates
  • Set permissions and security protocols; enforce usage rights, licensing, and compliance rules
  • Collaborate with compliance on regulated content requirements
  • Tie label and panel images to physical label versions and dates
  • Flag outdated or non-compliant assets and manage channel-specific approval and version control
  • Oversee intake of assets from shoots, creative teams, and agencies
  • Require layered files and transparent masters on intake
  • Manage updates, archival, deletion, and lifecycle statuses of assets
  • Coordinate replacement or removal of changed assets and confirm downstream systems are updated
  • Maintain channel specification sheets and track channel go-live dates
  • Support Ecommerce and IT with DAM, CMS/ecommerce, PIM, and marketing-platform integrations
  • Define automated distribution workflows and reduce manual asset handling
  • Partner with Ecommerce on asset URLs, replacement workflows, site performance, and SEO
  • Train staff on system use, search, upload, and organization best practices
  • Drive adoption across departments
  • Partner with Marketing, Creative, Product, Operations, and Ecommerce
  • Serve as point of contact for external partners and agencies
  • Work primarily in a smoke-free manufacturing environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital asset management, digital library/media management, or a closely related function
  • Hands-on proficiency with SharePoint required; Brandfolder proficiency preferred
  • Demonstrated experience building taxonomy, naming conventions, and governance processes
  • Experience with channels where an outside platform sets creative specs and rejects assets that don't meet them, e.g., Amazon, HSN/QVC, Social Media, Email
  • Foundational understanding of image SEO best practices, including URL structures, hyphenation rules, alt text optimization, and file size/format constraints
  • Understanding of delivering assets by URL feed and automated delivery
  • Familiarity with DAM/CMS/PIM integrations
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and training non-technical users
  • Experience in a consumer brand, CPG, or e-commerce environment preferred
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
