About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the operation and continuous development of the automated hosting environment for Projektron BCS
- Maintain and manage existing hosting VMs and instances
- Communicate with the data center service provider
- Help migrate the hosting environment to container technologies to optimize resource utilization
- Develop and implement technical concepts for containerization and integration with existing management structures
- Share responsibility for securing and hardening web servers and operating systems as part of IT security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good to very good degree in an IT-related field or completed vocational training in computer science, or equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience
- Experience administering an automated hosting environment
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar container tools
- Experience administering web applications at a technical level
- Administration of Linux server systems
- Knowledge of Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Ansible, and Puppet
- Excellent German language skills (C1 or higher)
