Work directly with clients to understand their operations and propose opportunities
Help clients choose useful next steps and understand value and tradeoffs
Design and build AI applications, including data processing, retrieval, tools, APIs, and integrations
Help employees find reliable guidance, reconcile complex documents, and complete recurring tasks
Define performance criteria with client experts
Build evaluations from real examples, investigate failures, and improve systems
Deploy software within client environments with technical teams
Work on cloud services, testing, CI/CD, security, and release processes
Improve production reliability, performance, and operations
Build client trust through patience, responsiveness, and clear communication
Use AI tools to automate development, testing, documentation, and operational tasks
Help shape Prolego's AI-native workflows and company practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong software engineering fundamentals
Practical Python experience
Evidence of delivering working software
Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and domains quickly
Initiative and follow-through; ability to investigate problems independently and progress through ambiguity
Sound client judgment and ability to connect technical decisions to business needs
Curiosity about business operations
Strong spoken and written English
Ability to explain complex ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and discuss tradeoffs clearly
Relevant experience with LLM applications, data systems, APIs, cloud deployment, CI/CD, observability, or DevOps practices
Applicants must reside in the continental United States
