About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide consulting/advisory services through Prometeia Advisor SIM
  • Apply knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, related risks, actuarial techniques, and risk management methodologies
  • Analyze and manage data using financial data providers and tools such as Bloomberg, Thomson Financial, Preqin, Python, MATLAB, and R
  • Work with financial advisory, asset management, banking, insurance, actuarial, or institutional-investor contexts
  • Participate in projects with managers and team members through transparent discussions and reciprocal feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial advisory firms, asset management companies, banks, insurance companies, actuarial firms or institutional investors
  • Proven track record of developing a solid understanding of financial markets, their dynamics, investment instruments and related risks
  • Master's degree with excellent academic results in Economics/Finance, Statistics/Actuarial Science, Engineering/Management Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications will also be considered
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using major financial data providers such as Bloomberg, Thomson Financial, and Preqin
  • Familiarity with programming languages and applications for data analysis and management, including Python, MATLAB, and R
  • Membership of the professional register of actuaries (Albo degli Attuari) is considered a plus
  • Sound knowledge of actuarial techniques applied to welfare (pension/healthcare) and risk management methodologies is considered a plus
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
