Conduct quantitative analyses of insurance activities and data
Develop, maintain, and enhance analytical models to meet business needs
Interpret results and provide strategic recommendations to business partners
Contribute to identifying opportunities to improve operational processes
Collaborate with claims, underwriting, and various internal stakeholders
Participate in the exploration and value creation of data to support decision-making
Produce analyses and metrics to improve operational efficiency and understanding of business issues

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a relevant discipline
Approximately 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in analytics, actuarial science, data science, or a related field
Experience analyzing and processing complex data
Strong proficiency in SQL
Knowledge of R
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-specialist stakeholders
Analytical mindset, autonomy, and ability to work as part of a team
Experience in property and casualty insurance (an asset)
Successful completion of actuarial exams (an asset)
Knowledge of data visualization or advanced analytics tools (an asset)
Experience in statistical or predictive modeling (an asset)
