About the role

Work with clients to find value, frame the problem worth solving, and define success measures.
Use AI to rapidly prototype and test ideas and hypotheses during discovery.
Articulate client value and the outcome the client is buying.
Clearly communicate problems, hypotheses, and success measures.
Ensure delivery teams work solely on funded backlog items and constrain product delivery as necessary.
Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to meet functional and commercial objectives.
Lead discovery and manage scope to deliver maximum value and use resources efficiently.
Define hypotheses and measurable success criteria.
Keep product delivery teams informed of upcoming work and communicate product context and problems.
Maintain long-term client relationships through continuous, meaningful delivery.
Represent Propellerhead in front of stakeholders in a professional, confident, and clear manner.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced, AI-native Product Strategist.
Proven experience as a Product Strategist or similar role in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with stakeholders to define problems and measurable outcomes.
Familiarity with product management tools and software.
Very comfortable using AI to rapidly prototype, test hypotheses, and accelerate discovery.
Willingness to learn and adapt to Propellerhead's way of working.
Must be Auckland based, or planning to relocate to Auckland, New Zealand.
Must attend the final-stage in-person interview in New Zealand.
May be required to agree to a police background check, credit history check, other assessments, and provide evidence of qualifications.
