About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure
Install and configure hardware, software, and networking components
Contribute to computer system and office network design
Deploy and manage virtual machines and other IT resources
Conduct system maintenance and performance monitoring
Identify and resolve technical issues
Develop and maintain troubleshooting procedures
Implement and monitor security measures
Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans
Ensure compliance with security policies
Manage onboarding and offboarding tasks
Recommend and implement system upgrades
Research and evaluate emerging technologies
Provide technical support to end users
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with IT system integration
Train end users on new systems and technologies
Maintain IT process and procedure documentation
Share knowledge and best practices with team members
Use AI assistants for scripting, automation, and diagnostics
Validate AI outputs for correctness and security and apply responsible-AI practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience in an IT support or IT engineering role
Solid understanding of computer hardware, specifically Mac, software, and networking concepts
Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving in a remote environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and procedures
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
Hands-on experience using AI assistants and AIOps tools in IT work
Understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals and AI output validation
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a plus
Familiarity with Notion is a plus
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is a plus
Knowledge of automating manual processes using AI and other resources is a plus
Must be legally authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available
