About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide professional and management development training for DOL ILAB Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL), and Data Services
- Design and deliver training and technical assistance on indicators, analysis, surveys, adaptive management, and evaluation planning
- Facilitate collaborative learning and sensemaking sessions
- Collect participant feedback
- Teach practical methods and facilitate learning
- Turn insights into actionable outcomes
- Monitor programs and measure impact
- Turn labor data into clear insights supporting global action
- Adapt training materials to requested languages with qualified translation support
- Document lessons with the Lead Evaluator
- Support up to four activities annually
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated adult-learning design experience
- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) knowledge
- Effective facilitation for diverse international audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, evaluation, or a related field, recommended
- MEL training experience
- Instructional design skills
- Workshop facilitation skills
- Remote/hybrid delivery experience
- Feedback design skills
- Ability to create accessible learning materials
- Audience responsiveness, facilitation, inclusion, and practical knowledge transfer
- Ability to adapt materials to requested languages using qualified translation support
- Ability to support evaluation sensemaking sessions and document lessons
- English work/job-site language
