About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a team of two Salesforce Administrators
  • Report directly to the VP of Operations and collaborate with sales, support, sales operations, finance, and other stakeholders
  • Manage users and licenses, including setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules
  • Configure Salesforce, including data flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
  • Develop user reports and provide training
  • Manage sandbox environments and DevOps/release processes
  • Identify and gather requirements and translate them into scalable, best-practice solutions
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features
  • Create a platform roadmap and define priorities with stakeholders
  • Communicate platform changes to end users and stakeholders
  • Improve Salesforce data quality through data management, rules, and automation
  • Perform proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
  • Handle user support tickets and improve user adoption
  • Conduct new-user and ongoing-user training
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Manage integrated applications and third-party suppliers, including Marketo, Milestones PM+, BlueSnap Payments, Chargent, and DocuSign
  • Participate in annual Salesforce contract renewals and negotiations
  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience with Salesforce and Sales
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Additional Salesforce certifications, e.g. Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder
  • Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, or professional qualification (preferred)
  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge
  • Proactive attitude to platform enhancements
  • Ability to design scalable, best-practice solutions
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience in change management and governance
  • Experience training end users and key stakeholders
  • Technical documentation skills
  • Availability and responsiveness to questions
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes
  • DevOps/release management experience
  • Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
  • Continued personal/professional development
  • Active participation in the Salesforce community
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
