About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the ISSO Support Services Team
  • Maintain security compliance, documentation accuracy, and continuous monitoring for government systems
  • Oversee POA&M tracking, RMF documentation updates, vulnerability status maintenance, audit preparation, and system owner coordination
  • Ensure systems remain compliant with FISMA and NIST requirements
  • Provide executive leadership across ISSO security governance and RMF assessment operations
  • Oversee planning cycles, milestones, and multi-team synchronization
  • Manage stakeholder engagement among ISSOs, Assessors, government leads, and system owners
  • Oversee security compliance, RMF lifecycle monitoring, artifact and documentation readiness, coordination with government ISSOs and security engineering teams, deliverable quality review and approval, and multi-department staffing and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years' experience in federal cybersecurity environments
  • A CISSP, CISM, or other IAT/IAM Level III certification is required
  • Demonstrated experience leading ISSO teams
  • A minimum active Public Trust clearance or higher is required
  • Candidates must already have the required clearance; security clearance sponsorship is not available
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field
  • PMP certification is recommended, but not required
  • Master’s degree in any field is preferred
